Floating Markets in Thailand

Floating market called 'talad naam' meaning 'market water' in Thai.
Khlong meaning 'canal' in Tha
i,

Bangkok and vicininty has a huge khlong system. Floating markets do exsist in various locations mostly in Rachaburi province. Here is the famous 100 year old Damnoen (pronounced 'Dumnern') Saduak floating market. Your best bet is to arrive the night before and get a guest house. Bright and early you can be there to beat all the tourists. Its quite a thing to see.
