It all started when I found and read the "Guide to Healthy Living in Thailand and Southeast Asia". This is a great book produced by the Thai Red Cross Society. I had to then visit the famed Snake Farm In Bangkok located within the Queen Saovabha Institute (QSMI) located on Rama 4 and Henry Dunant Roads, Bangkok.
According to the speakers at their show the Snake Farm is the second largest facility of its kind in the world and is the source of venom used in the production of antivenom to Thai snakes. They have a great show there that the whole family will love. The handlers were very professional and friendly and tangle with Cobras, Kraits, and Vipers. At the end you may have a chance to handle a python as shown in this photo on the right. Show times: 10:30am and 02:30pm.
