Despite it's exploitive private holdings Ko Samet is a National Park. Its an easier island to get to and is beautiful. It has resisted major development so far and for the time being can be considered a backpackers island. Look for a peacefull stay depending on your place of choice and relax; You wont be unhappy with this gorgeous island.
