Sawatdee from Jim
There are those who have never been been abroad or to a country where life goes slower and things are not as serious as back in the west. My hope is that maybe this web site will allow some viewers minds to wander a little bit no matter where they might be. Maybe this site will heighten their sense of adventure. Maybe they might envision that beautiful beach and aqua blue ocean lying just ahead of them. Maybe this site might answer some misconceptions too that many Westerners have about south-east Asia in general and change their way of thinking making them even more humble. I think the world is always a better place when we don't just rely on the news and media but really see or experience the true story for ourselves.

My name is Jim. I enjoy taking photos and this is just my little story of some of my travels. I don't profess to be the expert on Thailand. I have lived in Northeastern Thailand and just enjoy this beautiful country. I don't mind going 3rd class, eating off a food cart, or finding a $5 guest house. The tourist areas are nice, but for me the best way to see Thailand is to go beyond them. Visiting the country and less traveled areas is a great way to meet the people and see and experience the real heart of Thailand. Thailand is truly the Land of Smiles. Good travels. Big Jim
