| It was my first time in Ayudhaya and I arrived late. So much to do in such a short time. To my surprise I found a more upscale guest house with a backpackers price (400 baht) included with the warmth and friendliness that we always want in a good guest house. The owner Jeeda took the time to give me a map of the local area, orient me to my new surroundings and Ayutthaya's special temples. A good guest house is more than just place to crash but a place that really takes care of you because you are the tourist, foreigner, and outsider. I highly recommend the Promtong Mansion to anyone staying in Ayutthaya. | ||||||||||||
