Ayutthaya the old city
When I visited Ayutthaya I only had a very short time. My train was a late arrival. I got to my guest house late and settled in quickly. The day light was limited so my I took a walk quickly to photograph what I could with the light I had left. I had to leave the next day. Let me tell you it was a mistake for me to plan such a short time in Ayudhaya. I was finding out that there was a lot of interest here and a lot to see and do. I have been many places in Thailand, but I especially liked the feel of this place and it's people.

Brief History: Near the middle 15th century, the city state of Ayudhaya acceded power from Sukhothai and became the new seat of government for the Thai people. The Ayutthaya Historical Park is an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

These figures appear to be protectors of the temples. The Bhudda head at Wat Maha That

This is Vin.
